What happens during the Bonus Round in MONOPOLY Live?
A Bonus Round starts as soon as the wheel of fortune stops on the “2 Rolls” or “4 Rolls” field.
Please note the following if you want to bet on “2 Rolls” or “4 Rolls”:
👉 If the wheel stops on “4 Rolls”, you can roll the dice FOUR TIMES in the triggered Bonus Round. This is, however, the riskier option, as there is only ONE of these fields on the wheel of fortune.
👉 If the wheel stops on “2 Rolls”, you can roll the dice TWO TIMES in the triggered Bonus Round. This is more likely to happen than with “4 Rolls”, as the “2 Rolls” field features on the wheel of fortune THREE TIMES.
How the Bonus Round works:
Mr Monopoly marches around the board according to the numbers rolled with the dice. The fields he crosses look just like the properties from the original Monopoly, with the well-known streets, utilities, “Free Parking” and the “GO” field.
Not only can you win basic prizes in this round, but Mr Monopoly can also build houses/hotels at the start of the round to increase your chances of scooping even better prizes.
If you land on the “Jail” field, you must roll a double (the same number with both dice) to be released. Any winnings you achieved before being locked up will remain yours.
Should you roll a double without being in jail, you’ll be rewarded with a free roll.
Reach “GO” and any winnings achieved after this will be doubled.
“Income Tax” reduces the bonus winnings by ten percent, while “Super Tax” reduces them by 20 percent.
Once the rolling has come to an end, the player will receive their winnings and return to the main game.
How do you place a stake?
You can place a stake in MONOPOLY Live as soon as the traffic light above the fields lights up green. When the traffic light shows amber, the time available to place a stake is almost over; and red denotes that it is no longer possible to place a stake.
Betting is easy: Once the green light is lit, simply select how many chips you wish to stake and click on the field of your choice. Every subsequent click on that field raises the stake.
A click on “REPEAT” places the same stakes again, while “DOUBLE” doubles the amount placed in the previous round.
