Without a doubt — it’s Beat Gerber, 43. The defender ended his career in 2023 after 20 years with SC Bern, during which time he celebrated six championship titles and two cup victories. After that, he even served as the club's equipment manager for another season. Today, Beat Gerber works as a carpenter and sells aloe vera products.
Who are the latest stars at SC Bern?
Three names must not be omitted from this list: Simon Moser, Ramon Untersander and Tristan Scherwey. Ramon Untersander, who has been with SCB since 2015, took over the captain title from club veteran Simon Moser last season. This season, the squad has been strengthened by goalkeepers Sandro Zurkirchen and Christof von Burgen, defender Alexander Yakovenko, and forwards Marco Müller and Mats Alge.
Who is the Bears’ head coach?
